State Fee Reimbursement For Entrepreneurs

New Connecticut law allows waiver of filing fees for certain new entrepreneurs.

A new Connecticut law allows the waiver of any state filing, permitting, or licensing fees for new entrepreneurs in technology, biotechnology and green technology sectors. The legislature established the Entrepreneur Learner’s Permit program allowing the state’s venture capital firm, Connecticut Innovations, Inc., to reimburse such new entrepreneurs up to $500,000 per year.
