Shaun Moloney practices labor, employment, municipal, and education law. He advises private and public sector clients, from corporations and individual business owners to Connecticut municipalities and boards of education, and represents employers in a broad range of workplace matters.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Attorney Moloney is a former professional journalist who moved into the legal profession in 2014 before moving to the United States later that decade. He holds a bar license in both Connecticut and New York.

A proud owner of five very expensive pieces of paper, he holds bachelor’s and post-graduate/master’s degrees in both Law and Journalism from both the United Kingdom and the United States and finished his American legal training with an LL.M from the University of Connecticut in 2019. He also owned a MENSA gold card when he was just eight years old.

He has been published as a reporter in regional, national, and online publications in both United Kingdom and the United States. Since joining the legal profession, Shaun has represented clients in civil, criminal, family, immigration, and probate courts. His journalistic background has given him the tenacity, resourcefulness, and efficiency that few other lawyers can boast.

Outside of the office, Shaun is an avid sports fan who prides himself on never wavering love for bad franchises. He has visited over fifty countries and is now working on each individual state here in the U.S.  He plays and coaches soccer (football to him) and holds membership with the Connecticut Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
